One Week Old

Adventures of our week (and a few days):

• The first night was absolutely miserable!  We were up every hour either cleaning diapers or feeding Kallie.  Man, we were spoiled in the hospital.
• We had to go back to the hospital the day after we got out to check Kallie's bilirubin levels and see the pediatrician.  Thankfully everything looked great and no treatment was needed.
• Kallie is an eater!  I think she takes after her dad.
• We love to cuddle.  Kallie will wrap her little legs around our stomach spread eagle style.  Maybe we have a gymnast on our hands.
• My dad and Lindsay came to visit us for the weekend.  Kallie was such a good sport with all the jostling she experienced from being passed around.
• We gave Kallie her first sponge bath at home (and then again a couple days later).  That hair gets so greasy with everybody wanting to rub it.

We did manage to get a one week picture on time, though.

I'm so thankful my mom has been here to help us out.  I don't know what we would do without her.  And she loves taking care of her precious granddaughter.
