The Crib Corner

The past few weeks have been pretty crazy at our house.  Not in a good way or a busy way, but we have been able to get a few projects done while I was laid up in bed or on the couch.  Kyle sanded and painted the dresser for Kallie's room.  Now I just have to figure what kind of stencil or pattern I want.  I also started on the mobile that I want above her crib.  I'm really excited how it is turning out and hopefully will have it done by next weekend.  Kyle also painted the frames pink and hung them behind the crib.  The dark pink matches the stripes in the bedding perfectly...oh yeah, the bedding came in, too.  It is really cute and so soft!

I may add a few more frames if I find some for really cheap.  I'm going to hang the mobile towards the left so it doesn't look too lopsided.

Kallie's room is slowly coming together but we have a long way to go.  It is exciting to finish projects and be that much closer to (and prepared for) her arrival.
