Family Visit

My family visited us in Alaska in September.  For the days we were working, they spent time with Kallie and drove up and down some of the scenic highway, including a tram trip up Alyeska, Portage Glacier boat ride, beluga whale spotting and a few museum stops.

Over the weekend, we drove down to Homer where the boys went halibut fishing and the girls explored the town.  We found this wonderful beach where Kallie could splash around in the water.  Just perfect!

The boys caught a bunch of halibut!  Kyle caught the big one!  Well, the little big one to the right of the ginormous 168 pounder.  A 55 pounder...not too bad.

The last day they were here, we took them to hike Byron glacier.  They were troopers in the cold rain.

Thank for visiting and hanging out with us!  We are looking forward to their next trip.
