We checked out the Aviation Museum one weekend when it was free. It was fun to walk around and see all the big planes, especially since Kallie has been in so many. She also got to push some buttons and do some hands on things which helped keep her attention.
After the museum we headed to the Kid's Day festivities. Kallie got lots of goodies and treats at the convention center. Her favorites were her pink balloon puppy dog and her cup full of dirt and grass she planted. We bypassed the face painting since the line was so stinkin' long. The grass cup is on our windowsill and fun for her to watch grow. I'm thinking I can (maybe) grow something too - herbs or flowers. Surely!
