Christmas in Alaska

It hasn't felt much like Christmas for the lack of decorating at our apartment.  And we probably won't decorate anything once we get into our house.  I somewhat feel bad because Kallie doesn't get to experience that, but then again - she won't remember too much.

We did however have a work family Christmas party and it was fantastic!  Kallie got to sit on Santa's lap.  She's still not too sure of him.  No screaming but just so serious.  I was surprised she actually looked at him.  She also got this huge candy cane full of kisses so that may have helped.

They also had food (Kallie ate probably 7 big strawberries and way too many cookies), crafts (coloring, ornament making, tiny Christmas tree decorating, etc), face painting and a clown making balloon animals.  Sleigh rides were outside.  Kallie liked seeing the horses and riding in the sleigh.

 I was very impressed with the set-up and glad she got to experience a little bit of Christmas fun.
