On the way back, Kallie was not going to take a nap so we headed to Mirror Lake to check it out. I think we could have stayed there all day to let her splash around. She did not want to leave. The views were pretty great, too.

Reindeer Farm
We wanted to get out of Anchorage to see some of Alaska. Our first stop on our short weekend trip was to Palmer, Alaska. They have a reindeer farm and lots of hiking. On the way, we decided to do a short hike to Thunderbird Falls. It was really nice. Kallie loved petting the bunnies at the reindeer farm. She was a little nervous about feeding the reindeer and elk but it was lots of hands on fun.
